Black Bakelite Brolite Zig-Zag Door Knob

Sets: A pair of authentic, 1930`s / 1940`s / 1950`s / 1960`s Art Deco vintage-style real Bakelite door knobs (Walnut or Black) supplied complete with our 6098 Brolite rectangular back-plates (only with keyhole), a 110mm long 5/16″/7.9mm spindle, grub screws and matching ¾” wood screws for the back-plates. The spindle should fit some old locks as well as new ones but if you have a 7.6mm spindle in the old lock, the square hole in the lock can be filed out to 7.9mm with a sharp square file. For extra thick doors and/or if used with rim locks, 148mm long spindles are also available (at extra cost). 
All Brolite back-plates and knobs can be purchased separately if required, so if you are unable to see the combination of sets you are after, you can order the parts individually to make up your desired set. All our Brolite door knobs & handles are interchangeable on all of our Brolite back-plates – a luxury which gives a huge number of combinations to choose from especially if you include our metal back-plates.
All our BROLITE Bakelite pieces are based on original designs modelled from old samples acquired, and date from early to mid-20th century. Made by a highly skilled team using expensive metal moulds and modern CAD technology and ultimately, each piece is hand-finished and finally polythene wrapped.
