Door Knob Spindle 5/16″ x 4 1/4″

This is a 5/16″ (7.93mm) door handle spindle which fits some of the old locks as well as modern locks which are 8mm. Some original locks had a very slightly smaller door knob spindles (7.6mm) and if your lock is one of these you will need to enlarge the square hole in the lock with a sharpe square file.
Supplied with the dark bronze/blackish 3/16″ whitworth grub screws and washers (which fit underneath the knob to take up excessive “play”)
