Walnut Brown Bakelite BROLITE Bathroom Lock

All our BROLITE real Bakelite pieces are based on original designs from early to mid-20th century and this privacy Turn & Release was originally designed and made in the 1930’s by Phillips. This is a close replica of it; the main difference is the diameter of the neck. (We decided to make it uniform with the whole of the BROLITE range of knobs and handles. This therefore means that we have the option for it to be fitted -to other backplates using a different assembly clip for the 5mm spindle)
The release facility is by using small screwdriver placed in the slot in the centre of the outside plate. Rotate the screwdriver and hey presto, the door is released.

You will need to fit a bathroom deadbolt number: 0801MB is our popular version. Commonly, the Turn & Release bathroom privacy locks are positioned at chest height.
